The only real notable feature absent from the current version (2.3) that I can think of is if you feed an already DVD-compliant mpeg file into it (eg as output from xdtv or mencoder) it will convert it regardless. I must come clean that I have been the main tester for this immortal app and every time I found a bug or missing feature Sergio (the developer) would fix or add it almost instantly- what a star!
